You go to child support offices and tell them what he is up to.
By LAW he is required to support his children financially AND medically. Additionally, since HE left, he is required to support you in lifestyle you have been accustomed to - this does vary by state -so check with an atty on this one.
Also, I am including the 211 site for pensacola - check there for additional help on local resources ( food, rental assistance, clothing utility assistance, etc) until the EX decides he has no alternative but to take care of his responsibility.
